About My Skin

It's important when reading reviews to remember that not every beauty has your skin type. A product that works amazingly on someone else may just leave you with a nasty breakout or looking ill and vice versa.

To make it easier for you, and myself, I have written a brief run down of my skin type. Please note that it doesn't mean you will 100% agree with my product reviews as they also take into account my own personal opinions. This is merely a guideline to understand what products may be better suited to you.

My skin is considered normal to dry, with my facial skin particularly sensitive. I'm prone to hormonal breakouts and breakouts caused by the use of wrong products or harsh scrubbing/chemicals on my skin. The use of the wrong products or overuse of products can also cause breakouts or temporarily (usually 2-3 days) cause my skin to become oily.

I am yet to see a dermatologist about my acne problems, but it is something that is on my to do list. Until then, I'll continuously search for the right combination of techniques and products to help me combat my problem.
