Irresistible Me / 100% Human Hair Extensions - REVIEW **

I've been sitting on this post for a while now, simply because I wanted to give you all the most honest and detailed review that I could possibly give.
As someone who has had bad experiences with hair extensions before, I must admit I was a little worried about reviewing the irresistible me hair extensions. But despite my hesitation, I am glad I accepted the offer presented to me by IrresistibleMe. Whilst I was graciously sent a set of hair extensions to review, I have not been paid or influenced to give any review other than my own personal opinions.

There's something irresistibly sexy and sassy about having long hair, which is why I've always been drawn to hair extensions. The great thing about IrresistibleMe is their extensions don't just feel like extensions.

One of the first positive things I noticed about IrresistibleMe wasn't actually about their products, it was the customer support I received during the process of picking out the best set and colour. As I have ombre hair and there were no ombre options, I received not only written advice but was provided with links to tutorials detailing how to dye their hair extensions. (Tutorial Link) I ended up settling with the 24' Royal Honey Blonde Extensions.

Delivery time wasn't half bad either, reaching me within two weeks of shipment. I was a little disappointed to find the box packaging had be crushed, however I think this may be an issue through the postal system and not through IrresistibleMe. The hair extensions themselves are packaged in a see-through bag with two compartments, one of which contains the full set of hair extension and the other contains a single clip of hair to ensure your hair colour matches before you use the set.

I quickly got to dying my extensions, which turned out to be a lot easier and quicker that I thought it would. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of this process, but above is a link to the Tutorial that I followed. As I was also touching up my roots whilst dying my extensions, I was pleased to see the extensions taking to the dye much quicker than what my actual hair did. This was a pleasant surprise as I have tried to dye extensions in the past and they took at least 3 coats of dye to start taking to the colour, and even then they turned out blotchy with very weak colour.
What killed my excitement a little was the drying time after washing them. As I don't like using hair dryers unless necessary, I decided to let them dry over night. I checked them before I went to work the following morning and was sad to see them still damp. Still, by the time I was finished work at 5pm, they had dried and I was able to wear them for the first time.

The clips used are strong and sturdy, however they do not drag on or pull on your hair, which is a great change to many of the hair extensions I have tried in the past. Each strand is easy to comb through, with very little tangling occurring whilst putting them in.

A downside I found with my hair pretty quickly was how difficult is was to blend my natural hair to the
extensions due to the length of/style of my hair. It took a while to work on, although the more you do it the easier it is to blend. It's just one of those things that can take a lot of time and patience to learn. Don't give up though! You'll get the hang of it.

One of the reasons I've waited so long to do this review is because I wanted to really see how well the extensions lasted in regards to shedding, maintenance, quality and wear. And here is the simple run down for it- these extensions take very minimal effort to keep maintained, they hardly shed AND they are so easy to wear comfortably, unless you're not used to long hair, in which case they may tickle your arms and neck for a while!
Added to this, they are so easy and quick to style, taking less time and holding a curl a lot better than what my natural hair does, which was a pleasant surprise!

So I guess it all comes down to this: Would I recommend IrresistibleMe Royal Hair extension?
Simply, yes. I do not think that they will suit everyone due to some peoples personal taste and hair colour, however I do think that they are worth the investment for good quality, long lasting hair extensions. You can check out their full range of products here.
